It started with iron.
For me, the gym wasn’t just a place to work out—it was a lifeline. In the early days of my sobriety, lifting became more than just a routine; it was my anchor. Every session, I found hope in the simple act of picking up the weights. With each rep, I discovered a confidence in myself that I hadn’t felt in years.
I started to see a new version of myself, both in and out of the gym. Each time I showed up, I was building more than muscle—I was building a future. I was starting to feel again: pride, purpose, even joy. Movement became my medicine, and the gym became the place where I learned to believe in myself again.
That’s where The Break Off was born. What began as my personal lifeline has grown into a movement, helping others find hope, strength, and a new sense of self—one session at a time.
