SAM HALE
With over 15 years of experience in guiding individuals through the challenges of drug and alcohol addiction recovery, Sam is a passionate fitness and recovery enthusiast focused on strength training. For the past decade, he has committed himself to helping others achieve their fitness goals while creating a positive and motivating environment.
Having a justice-impacted background, he deeply understand the obstacles many individuals face. His personal journey drives his commitment to empower others to overcome these challenges and reclaim their lives. He is dedicated to promoting sustainable health and wellness, enabling individuals to thrive both physically and emotionally on their recovery journey.

CHARLENE CHANDLER
Charlene is a dynamic mother, passionate powerlifter, and enthusiastic coach who loves to dance! Originally from Long Beach, California, she now calls Orange County home. With a love for adventure, she enjoys mountain biking, roller skating, rock climbing, hiking, and anything that gets her outdoors.
Since finding sobriety in 2018, Charlene has credited fitness as a cornerstone of her success. She believes that a healthy lifestyle can profoundly transform one’s quality of life, a belief rooted in her own personal journey. Alongside pursuing her fitness goals, she is certified in dance, yoga, and fitness, further enhancing her ability to inspire others.
With over 10 years of experience in non-profit work, Charlene brings a wealth of knowledge in program development and volunteerism, making her a dedicated advocate for positive change in her community.

ADAM GONZALES
Adam is a proud Orange County native from Buena Park, with nearly a decade of experience in substance abuse treatment. He currently manages one of the largest facilities in the region, where he is dedicated to helping others on their recovery journeys.
Having achieved over nine years of sobriety himself, Adam has not only raised a family but also built strong connections within the community. Recently, he has embraced competitive powerlifting, a pursuit that resonates deeply with him due to his own experiences. Adam’s journey and commitment to recovery allow him to connect authentically with the demographic served by The Break Off, empowering others to find strength and resilience on their paths to healing.

NIKKI RICE
Nikki is the proud owner of a thriving CrossFit gym, where she has dedicated the past 14 years to inspiring individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles. As a devoted mother of two, she expertly balances her passion for fitness with her commitment to family, embodying strength and resilience both in and out of the gym.
With a profound love for health and wellness, Nikki continuously motivates her community, fostering a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. Her unwavering dedication to empowering others makes her a true leader in promoting fitness and well-being.

IN HOUSE NUTRITIONIST
ASHLIE LAIDLAW
Ashlie is a full-time employee, host mother, Non-Profit Board Member and nutrition activist. After struggling for most of her life to find her place, she found fitness. Learning proper nutrition and using exercise as a powerful mental health tool. She has competed in multiple bodybuilding shows, and she is a proud multi award winner. Through her own transformation, she became more passionate about helping others, especially when it comes to aching their goals with health and nutrition. Whether it’s with choosing better food options, creating meal plans, coaching, or holding a workshop, she’s got you covered.
